10. Junín Street
Many years ago the simple act of walking or buying or simply admiring the merchandise displayed in store windows of the sector prompted the invention of a verb: “Juniniar” or spending time on Junín. Now, its pedestrian walkway, connecting the Coltejer building on one end to Bolívar Square on the other, lets the casual visitor leisurely traverse one of the city’s central and historic areas as did Medellín residents of yesteryear when the street was the city’s main social and business thoroughfare.
